Pace TIP850Pace, best known for its digital TV technologies, was showcasing some of its latest developments at this years IBC2006 industry trade show. One interesting device on show from Pace was its hybrid satellite-IPTV PVR.

The hybrid works with both High Definition and standard video content whether it is transmitted by satellite or via IP sources. This video can then be delivered to other IP enabled devices in the home including PCs and other set-top boxes with a network connection.

The unnamed device also has a hard drive making it a fully functional satellite/IPTV enabled PVR.

Also the new Pace TIP850 PVR premiered at the show boasting 1 terabyte of storage. The TIP850 (pictured above) brings high definition TV to your screens via IP delivery and it also has an optional DTT tuner.

At present Pace has not announced any deals for either device for use with any Telecom companies nor have they released any details on price.
