RCA has added its name to the growing list of companies with USB TV tuners capable of receiving HDTV or analog broadcast signals. But unlike offerings from Pinnacle or Hauppauge, the RCA MPC4000 isn't a USB-stick style tuner. In other words, it's meant to stand up next to your computer, rather than sticking out of your USB slot. It does feature a nifty clip for attaching an antenna to your laptop or monitor though, so there's that.
Oh yeah, and it's not slated for release, and is expected to cost about $200. That's $70 or so more than the Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro and $100 more than the Hauppauge WinTV HVR 950 USB 2.0 Stick.
